Winvale serves as guest speaker in inaugural conference regarding contracting with the federal government.

In an effort to bring the most up-to-date Korean technologies to the federal government, The Winvale Group and its partner division Network Federal presented information about contracting with the US government to a number of Korean companies, including Maverick Systems and Combase, at the IT Channel USA Conference 2007.

The first annual conference, held on October 23-25, 2007 in Secaucus, New Jersey, is sponsored by the Korean International Trade Research Institute (KITRI) and SYNET, a company specializing in marketing Korean technologies in international markets. Enlisting the expertise of managing partners David Sonde of The Winvale Group and Kevin Lancaster of Network Federal, the conference gives Korean firms insight into selling their technology abroad in the United States. Both presented material and met with individual companies regarding how to best form a business relationship with government entities.

"Whether your go-to market approach is through a channel or direct to the end user, the public sector always has a great demand for state-of-the-art technology," said David Sonde, managing partner of The Winvale Group. "As a trade-compliant country, The Republic of Korea has a tremendous opportunity to take part in the over $16 Billion the government spends annually on technological advancement and services."

KITRI holds international IT exhibitions in various countries to support the development of overseas markets for the Korean IT industry. Since 1985, KITRI has been a key player in the advancement of the industry's development. SYNET is a company aiding Korean IT products to better penetrate mass retail channels in the United States and Canada. For more information, visit
