Lake Arrowhead, California (PRWEB) October 26, 2007
All roads into the mountain community of Lake Arrowhead have been closed this week pending further updates due to the wild fires in Twin Peaks outside of Lake Arrowhead. During this time, Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa has been established as the command center for fire and rescue crews serving the San Bernardino Mountain community.
Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is situated approximately six miles from the current blazing fires in the San Bernardino mountain area. In an effort to assist in the rescue operation, the resort has opened its doors to 200+ firefighters and rescue crews to provide a safe and conveniently located command center for emergency personnel as they break for rest and nourishment.
Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa will continue to provide assistance to rescue crews until all fires in the mountain community are contained and no longer a threat to the area.
Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is located 90 miles from Los Angeles in the San Bernardino Mountains, at 27984 Hwy 189, Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352.
