NoiseMakerNews.com has just launched. The new site is a social bookmarking site built specifically for musicians, audio engineers, and band members.
NoiseMakerNews.com today officially launched their social bookmarking for musicians website at http://www.NoiseMakerNews.com. The new site allows musicians to vote on the top musician stories, videos, and blogs making it easy for musicians to find the web's best content from a musician point of view. The stories with the most votes get the most exposure.
"I wanted a site where a guitar player could quickly and easily find the latest and best videos, blogs, and sites that cater to him/her and other guitar players. You know the sites are good because other musicians had to vote them into the NoiseMakerNews.com system", according to Brandon Drury, Owner of NoiseMakerNews.com. "While other social bookmarking sites like Digg offer music, they definitely do not cater to the musicians. They don't have categories on room acoustics, music marketing, or guitar pedals like we."
The NoiseMakerNews.com system is similar to other social bookmarking sites like Digg.com , but uses the Pligg script. The site allows anyone to submit a URL. From there, it's up to the other musician's using NoiseMakerNews.com to vote on that URL. If that webpage receives enough votes, it will make it to the front of the page.
