Ian Wagner and Francis Silva both already had a strong local presence in the Oklahoma City area, and Blue Fire Grill is excited to preserve their high regards.

Chet Surmaczewicz is now the General Manager of the esteemed Waterford Marriott Hotel in Oklahoma City, OK. He transferred from the Intercontinental in Kansas City, where he was the Director of Operations. With over twenty five years of industry experience in key management roles at distinguished properties such as the Ritz, Surmaczewicz brings invaluable expertise to his position at this luxurious Oklahoma hotel.    

Ian Wagner, now the Chef at Blue Fire Grille, comes from The Deep Fork Restaurant Group, which is one of the most popular restaurant circles in town. Wagner has a wide local following through his past experience and charity work throughout Oklahoma City. Trained at New England Culinary Institute with a 4.0 GPA, his work experience spans a number of The Deep Fork Groups restaurants including Deep Fork Grill and Red Moon Café & Bakery. He has won over six prestigious Oklahoma City awards and is sure to be a fabulous addition to the hotel restaurant.

Francis Silva, the new Sous Chef of Blue Fire Grille brings with him 22 years in the culinary industry. His past experience spans from owning All American Eats, a mobile food booth which seasonally catered to festivals, sporting events and tournaments and shows. He also has a vast array of experience at hotels and casinos including Wynn Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and at Louis Steakhouse within Sheraton Hotel & Casino. With his expertise spanning from the kettle and steamers to soups and sauces, Silva is quickly becoming an invaluable member of The Blue Fire team.
