QSI Corporation's VTERM-J mobile data terminal (MDT) has been deployed as part of Everyday Wireless's school bus and pupil tracking solution. The VTERM-J in-vehicle terminal allows Everyday Wireless to include driver login/logout, rider on/off, vehicle inspection and emergency text messaging capabilities with their existing GPS-based pupil transportation solution.

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) October 30, 2007 -- QSI Corporation's VTERM-J mobile data terminal (MDT) has been deployed as part of Everyday Wireless's school bus and pupil tracking solution. The VTERM-J in-vehicle terminal allows Everyday Wireless to include driver login/logout, rider on/off, vehicle inspection and emergency text messaging capabilities with their existing GPS-based pupil transportation solution. Additionally, the use of the VTERM-J supplements Everyday Wireless's existing two-way voice communication system by displaying emergency contact information.

"This rugged mobile data terminal will add significant safety and efficiency features to the core Everyday Wireless product offerings, said Dave Pettine, Everyday Wireless's vice president of sales and marketing. "As with all of our new product development and integration efforts, the addition of the VTERM-J MDT increases the scalability and flexibility of our solution suite."
