The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) will award teams from five academic medical centers the opportunity to train at a Palliative Care Leadership CentersSM (PCLC) site of their choice and receive a full year of mentoring by PCLC expert faculty.
The Milbank Foundation for Rehabilitation is funding this important initiative to enhance palliative care education at medical school--affiliated teaching hospitals through the development of clinical palliative care programs.
"Our goal is to assist scholarship recipients in developing a robust palliative care program that provides critical patient care and serves as an educational and research platform," says Lisa Morgan, CAPC Director of Communications.
