RosettaNet Worldwide Summit and Conference Highlights Future Opportunities Afforded by Standards-based Electronic Transactions

Penang, Malaysia (Vocus/PRWEB ) October 29, 2007 -- The RosettaNet Community is combining its bi-annual Global Community Summit with the organization’s Global Partner Conference in Penang October 29 – 31 at the Equatorial Hotel in Penang, Malaysia. The education and networking event is being hosted by RosettaNet Malaysia and will bring together a global audience of established RosettaNet consortium members from more than 19 countries as well as prospective trading partners from the high technology, telecommunication, logistics, and other industry sectors.
As a user-driven, non-profit consortium, RosettaNet develops universal standards for the global supply chain, emphasizing bottom-line, measurable results. A recent survey on RosettaNet adoption and implementation, conducted in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University of Singapore shows that companies save an average of US$156,000 annually in their supply chain operations after implementing RosettaNet standards and processes.
