Dragonfly Technologies Keeping the Entertainer Connected Creating On-line Buzz for Comedian Jonathan Katz 'HEY WE'RE BACK'
As designers for Jonathan Katz's primary website Dragonfly Technologies recently launched its latest project for the comedian. Working with the entertainer's team Dragonfly's CEO Dana Friedman moved to implement a new strategy that included Katz's homemade radio show, "HEY WE'RE BACK."

As designers for Katz's primary website (www.jonathankatz.com), they moved to implement a new strategy that would expand the audience for the entertainer's unique comedic voice.
Katz, a renowned standup comic who tours extensively throughout the US - is best known for his animated sitcom, "Dr. Katz Professional Therapist." New York-based Dragonfly Technologies and its CEO, Dana Friedman stepped in again when his management team sought more effective ways to reach wider audiences via the internet.
An experiment in the virtual waters of podcasting led to the launch of wkatz.com as a vehicle for additional creative ventures. Dragonfly worked with the comedian to release HEY WE'RE BACK --his hit "homemade radio show" (available on www.heywereback.com and www.wkatz.com).
By its fourth episode, in August 2007, HEY WE'RE BACK had been selected as an iTunes "feature." With only seven episodes released, the show has now been reviewed in major (internet and paper) publications . HEY WE'RE BACK is quickly creating new buzz among Katz's legacy fans and new ones.
"We counsel entertainers/entrepreneurs who want to be more visible on the web, to consider expanding into the realm of the audible," says Dana Friedman. "Different people like to get information in different ways. Reading about music or standup comedy isn't anywhere near as effective as actually hearing it."
