Unified Development, Inc., a St. Louis software development firm, is proud to announce the recent hiring of Derek Bemis to serve as a senior developer. In addition to the development aspects of several technical projects, Mr. Bemis will also be involved in strategic consulting and project management for Unidev clients.

Since beginning his career as a programmer with Strata Group in 1996, Mr. Bemis has worked as an applications architect for Enterprise Rent-A-Car and an architect and development manager for River City Internet Group before forming his own company, CDKWeb. During his time at CDKWeb, he served as the Director of Applications Development. It was also during his time with CDKWeb that Mr. Bemis got involved with .NET/C#, which allowed his company to offer web development services using Java, .NET or PHP as the foundation.
