Art Life Images Answers the Call with a New Crop of Specialty Stock Photo Collections

Don't tell the diligent and talented new crop of stock photo producers that traditional stock photo licensing is not in demand, they will have to politely disagree with you, just as their image buyers will.

This year sees an ever increasing number of specialty Royalty-Free stock photo production company's eclectic brand names appearing on online stock photo websites. With already millions of professional stock photos available for licensing at a variety of price points, there continues to be an insatiable need for new creative specialty lifestyle, cultural and regionally focused photography.

Some of these new niche lifestyle challenger brands include Onoky's French and fashion inspired collection, PhotoAlto's Zen Shui's focus on harmony and balance, 40260.com's (pronounced "forty 2 sixty") lives of boomers as well as the Latin lifestylings of the Somos Images collection.

Some of these tightly niched collections were created by design while others came to be as a natural opportunity.

Niall Johnston, VP Business Development of MedicalRFcom, shares, "We started as an e-learning company, but quickly found our niche with pharmaceutical and medical device companies and we find endless opportunity in developing more images specific to particular disease states."

Hiroshi Takano uniquely shares and promotes his extensive Aqua Images underwater sea life collection through personal live music and visual performances, "My enthusiastic love of nature and life led me to make my collections."

Chris DeLellis, founder and President of Art Life Media, Inc. asserts, "Along with the essential and broad collections from Corbis RF, Getty Images, Image Source and Jupiter Images, Art Life is thrilled to be offering these new and exciting specialty brand name collections. Our buyers can send us some real curve ball requests and these collections address some potentially lost opportunities for us."

Art Life's customers agree. Art Buyer and Image Coordinator Maureen Collins of The Wright Group, a McGraw-Hill company, explains, "In educational publishing we need specialty collections such as medical, science, history, art, and various ethnic culture sources. These collections house images that are just not available on most general content stock sites."

Candace Guittard, Art Producer with ad agency Dieste Harmel & Partners appreciates the effort, "I have noticed more groups reaching out for the ethnic advertising needs. We can always use more, more, more, images of all different Latin people and cultures."

DeLellis adds, "These professional image collections enrich the quality and depth of the overall Art Life file and we look forward to seeing these collections grow as well as to introducing new high quality specialty collections.
