Born and raised in a small village in the county of Cork, Wrigley spent 8 years as a Naval Officer before joining Accenture, one of the world's largest outsourcing and consultancy firms, as a management consultant. While working in London, he describes his experience of buying and then renovating property to a high specification in Ireland as stressful, time consuming and consistently frustrating. Wrigley often believed that estate agents, architects and building contractors that he was working with, left a lot to be desired in terms of client care. Brad says "I found I needed to dedicate an extraordinary amount of time to managing some contractors in order to ensure the original quote was not exceeded and that the work was to schedule and to the high standards that I demand.

"As you might expect, being an international client, this became even more unmanageable when I was not in the country to discuss emerging issues face to face. Deep down I knew there had to be a better way for people to do this. When forming Emerald Haven, my vision was to bring together the project management skills and property development experience picked up in my previous career to create an exciting, innovative and unique service."
