Katie Michaelson Goes "Straight to the Top" With 2Fabiola
Australian singer/songwriter Katie Michaelson is the featured guest vocalist on the latest single by former #1 charting Belgium pop act 2Fabiola.
Melbourne, Australia (PRWEB) November 1, 2007 -- In Belgium, dance music wouldn't be dance music without 2Fabiola. Front man and music legend Pat Krimson is used to success already having a #1 hit and many top 10's already under his belt charting throughout Europe (Belgium, Holland, Italy, Spain etc) with earlier releases from the band.
Their latest single "Straight to the Top" was a new turn for the group this time written by Katie along with Pat and Kristof (another member and producer in the band). 2Brains Entertainment recently flew Katie out to Belgium on a whirlwind trip for photoshoots, to film the music videoclip, and perform live on one of their countries biggest music shows called Tien Om Te Zien (Top of the Pops). Katie and Pat performed the new single to a jumping 10,000 strong crowd for the first time, filmed live, for later TV broadcast. When asked about the show Katie said "it was an incredible experience to perform on TOTz, the crowd were fantastic and they all seemed to love the song right from the start."
Katie is a very prolific song writer and has written songs for many artists over the last 12 months, one of her latest placements was recorded by the world renowned disco Diva Gloria Gaynor (I will Survive - Never Can Say Goodbye). The song is called 'Supernatural Love' and is a big club/house anthem that was produced by one of Europe's top DJ/producers Ollie Geodicke (aka The D.O.N.S.).
From Europe to the USA Katie is a very talented artist and will be travelling to California in January 2008 to record her debut album. She is working with award winning producers Howard Willing, Julian Raymond and Eric Rosse (known for artists such as Nerina Pallot, Sheryl Crow, Tori Amos, Anna Nallick Lisa-Marie Presley, The Dandy Warhols, Fastball and many others) With these great influences and Katie's unique vocal style she hopes to become a respected singer/songwriter in the coming years.

This project is a joint venture between BIG LOVE Productions (Australia) and 2Brians Entertainment Group (Belgium) and is now available for licensing around the world. Both companies have some exciting new JV projects scheduled for 2008 including "Love On Track" featuring Connie Wright and "Shake it Down" by Australian Idol finalist Laura Gissara.
