BlogWorld Expo to Throw World's Largest Pajama Party at the Hard Rock in Vegas
Celebrate with the rock stars of the blogosphere in your favorite PJ's.
Las Vegas, NV -- If the world's largest blogging conference and trade show wasn't already enough, the producers of the first annual BlogWorld & New Media Expo are throwing the "World's Largest Pajama Party" - a fitting theme for the inaugural event.
The humor won't be lost on those recalling the numerous snarky comments by mainstream journalists including a prominent former CBS executive who said back in 2004 during an interview on a rival network "…You couldn't have a starker contrast between the multiple layers of checks and balances (at 60 Minutes) and a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas writing."
That journalistic clash led Charles Johnson and Roger L. Simon to form Pajamas Media, a sponsor of BlogWorld & New Media Expo who suggested the pajama party theme. Attendees who register for the Executive & Entrepreneur conference or Full Access pass and registered press will be joining the fun at this exclusive event held at "The Joint" inside the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Thursday, Nov. 8, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
The Weblog Awards, recognizing top honors for innovation in blogging and new media, will be presented at the party. Among the finalists for the "best celebrity blog" category are Donald Trump, Rosie O'Donnell and BlogWorld Keynoter, Mark Cuban.
