The Konica Minolta Gator Bowl game mark was designed by Kurtis Loftus, President and Creative Director of The Kurtis Group, a Jacksonville Beach-based advertising and public relations agency. The Kurtis Group is the agency of record for the Gator Bowl Association, The Konica Minolta Gator Bowl Game and the Dr Pepper ACC Championship Game. This is the seventh Gator Bowl poster Mr. Loftus has designed.

"Konica Minolta has provided an exceptional level of input and support throughout the identity development process," explains Loftus. He adds, "Working on the new game logo and sharing ideas on the final game mark was a rewarding process. Our painting depicts the games Tiffany trophy reflecting various colors amid large tropical palm fronds. We feel the simplicity and elegance of the mark for this year's game makes a strong statement."
