Miracle Match Events Canceled In Portland And Spokane
Refunds available for professional tennis exhibition matches which raise awareness and funds for Miracle Match Foundation.
Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) November 4, 2007 -- The Miracle Match Foundation today announced that its Miracle Match Tour events scheduled for November 9th in Portland, Oregon and November 11th in Spokane, Washington have been canceled due to health-related issues of the organization's founder and event organizer, Bill Przybysz.
In 1995, Przybysz was first diagnosed with Acute Monocytic Leukemia (AML). His subsequent treatment and recovery was inspiration for his founding of the Miracle Match Foundation in 1999. A spokesperson for the Miracle Match Foundation said that Pryzybysz's current health condition is a result in large part to exhaustion and is not life threatening. He hopes to resume his busy schedule soon.
"We deeply regret that we must cancel these two Miracle Match Tour events," said Julie Marino, spokesperson for the Miracle Match Foundation. "Public support and interest in this fundraising exhibition have been extremely high in both Portland and Spokane and we look forward to coming back to the city as soon as possible."
