Free Community Workshop Offers Resources for Homeowners with Mortgage Woes
Springboard Nonprofit Consumer Credit Management teams with Neighborhood Housing Services of the Inland Empire for a community workshop on foreclosure prevention and mortgage delinquency for Inland Empire residents.
Riverside, CA (PRWEB) November 4, 2007 -- Springboard Nonprofit Consumer Credit Management, a HUD-approved housing counseling agency headquartered in Riverside, has partnered with Neighborhood Housing Services of the Inland Empire (NHSIE) a NeighborWorks organization, for a community workshop on November 10 entitled "Every Home Counts". The free public event will bring together experts in housing counseling, foreclosure prevention, mortgage lending, government, and community leaders, who will discuss the current foreclosure crisis and provide distressed homeowners with community resources to address their concerns.
"Both San Bernardino and Riverside counties are experiencing record numbers of foreclosures, and the number of homeowners in trouble with their mortgage payments is growing even faster," said Todd Emerson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Springboard. The workshop will be held in the auditorium at San Bernardino Valley College, 701 S. Mount Vernon Avenue, San Bernardino CA 92410. Registration for the "Every Home Counts" workshop is free and includes a complimentary breakfast.
