Flawl.us improves upon the concept of the ever popular "rate me" style website, by adding lightening-speed Ajax voting, multiple desktop, mobile and iPhone versions, localization in 9 different languages, and a sleek web 2.0 easy-to-navigate user interface.
The new and improved "rate me" website:
Flawl.us is the next generation of the internet rating website. Through the use of emerging technologies such as Ajax and ASP.net flawl.us is astonishingly responsive. For example, just seconds after rating a photo, users are instantly presented with a new set of photos to rate.
The flawl.us homepage displays three photos at a time in random fashion. Users are asked to provide a rating or assessment on a scale of "flawed" to "flawl.us" - which means "perfect ten". The site provides instant feedback in terms of the member's running score and info regarding the number of users that submitted a rating.
Unregistered users can view photos and vote, while registered users are permitted to nominate fellow members for awards, save members to favorites, upload an unlimited number of images and flag content as offensive.
Flawl.us allows users to customize their profile pages by selecting from a menu of pre-designed themes. Member profiles contain an "About Me" or "Welcome to my flawl.us page" and brief "Details" section. Fields in these sections are not displayed if members do not fill them in. Flawl.us also supports uploading multiple images under a single user account, each image receiving a unique rating. Awards and links to member flawl.us pages can be embedded in blogs and other websites for promotional purposes.
Flawl.us Mobile:
There are a variety of environments in which users can access flawl.us content on their mobile phone. A mobile version of Flawl.us was simultaneously launched for a wide range of mobile platforms, most notably for iPhone.
International sites:
Flawl.us also offers the option to access the website in different regional versions. The alternative regional versions offer local languages other than English, and accommodate the regional differences in spelling and conventions.
About Flawl.us:
Flawl.us is a worldwide community of public opinion that gives people a method to sample the opinions of the masses. Membership is free and the sign up process is quick and easy.
