Melbourne, FL (PRWEB) November 8, 2007
On October 26, 2007, after almost three years of extensive negotiations, the Florida Attorney General's Office and PBS Global, Inc. of Melbourne, Florida reached a mutual settlement of disputed consumer protection issues (Circuit Court 18th Judicial District for Seminole County, Florida, case # 07CA3049-16K). PBS notes that most of the matters which had concerned the Attorney General were voluntarily changed by the company prior to the investigation, and the officers and directors cooperated extensively with the Attorney General throughout the process. As part of the settlement, PBS agreed to make refunds to an additional 150 former clients. Earlier in October, the United States Attorney's Office in Wichita, Kansas, filed criminal charges against company officers and three Independent Contractors previously terminated by PBS (U.S. District Court for the district of Kansas, case # 0710180-01-08WEB). The criminal charges referenced seven PBS clients in Kansas, alleging the same matters resolved in the Florida Attorney General's settlement.
