PD-LD Expands LuxxMaster® product line to Packaged VBG® stabilized lasers now available.

Pennington, N.J. (PRWEB) November 8, 2007 -- PD-LD, Inc., the worldwide leader in Volume Bragg Grating® (VBG®) technology, unveils its latest addition to the LuxxMaster® product line. This newest product enhances PD-LD's position as the leading innovator of wavelength stabilized high power laser diode and diode array technology utilizing VBG® glass holographic filters.

The new fiber coupled, wavelength stabilized, frequency narrowed laser is ideally suited for specialized applications such as Raman Spectroscopy and medical or machine imaging. Utilizing, Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) TO packaged lasers; PD-LD offers the smallest VBG® stabilized footprint assuring its use among a variety of applications. The optically stabilized device improves system signal to noise ratio, when used with narrow band receivers.

The laser output can be modified to achieve 0.5 nm spectral width, which is appealing to customers who demand greater accuracy and control over their instruments.
