Worry Free Life Debuts in Amazon's Top 25--Named Amazon's Weekend #1 Movers and Shakers

The Worry Free Life teaches renewing your mind to zap the worry out of life.
In The Worry Free Life, you'll learn how to convert your negative thoughts to healthy ones -- and eliminate worry -- so you are free to live a life of love beyond anything you have ever imagined.

Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) November 8, 2007 -- The Worry Free Life debuted on Amazon's Top 25 list this weekend upon its release. The book also ranked #1 on Amazon's weekend's Movers and Shakers list.

Google the words worry and stress and you'll come up with over 300 million results. As compared with a Google search for the word Bible which gives you only 66 million results and poor Brad Pitt fetes just below 2 million results. Proving worry is quite a concern for most humans.

Even though the Proverbs teach us, "An anxious heart weighs a man down," and Jesus Himself tells Martha, "Martha, Martha, you're worried about many things," Christians and non-Christians alike tend to worry about health, family, marriage, money, jobs, the economy and terrorism to name a few.

Dr. Terence Sandbek, Co-author of The Worry Free Life, says, "People desperately want to live their lives with great passion and conviction. They seek answers from the Bible, pastors and even counselors, yet they are unable to find peace because of excessive worry and destructive emotions."

"In The Worry Free Life, you'll learn how to convert your negative thoughts to healthy ones -- and eliminate worry -- so you are free to live a life of love beyond anything you have ever imagined." he says.

Co-author with Dr. Sandbek is Patrick Philbrick. He adds, "Depression is now epidemic in the U.S. One of every three adults will have a serious bout of depression in their lifetime. We teach individuals the difference between destructive worry and healthy concern."

The book, The Worry Free Life grew out of Dr. Sandbek's and Patrick Philbrick's Renewing Your Mind life skills course which was a result of Dr. Sandbek's clinical psychology practice. In 1991 he trained Patrick, a nationally ranked sailplane pilot, in the performance enhancing skills of cognitive psychology.

When Patrick joined Green Valley Community Church in 2002, the pastor, Ken Burkey asked him to teach those same skills in their newly growing life skills classes. Pat's heart for this calling came out of some of his own struggles with depression, anxiety, and alcohol abuse.
Resulting was a dovetailing of the science of cognitive psychology and the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Renewing Your Mind course led the two authors to writing The Worry Free Life - opening up this transforming study to the masses.

Together, the authors want to help Christians and non-Christians alike to make room in their lives for more joy, peace, faith, happiness, and stronger relationships with God and others.
