Nulogx, Inc. Offering ACOM's EZeDocs as Document Output Component of Hosted Version of 3PL Transportation Management System
An innovative TMS software and services provider focused on iSeries/System i platforms, Nulogx is providing electronic document capabilities to its SaaS clientele through a partnership with ACOM Solutions, Inc. ACOM is a long-time major player in the space, offering a range of solutions for document design, output and management.
Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) November 8, 2007 -- Nulogx, Inc., a leading provider of transportation management software (TMS) and consulting services for third/fourth party logistics providers, has entered into a partnership agreement with ACOM Solutions, Inc. the two companies announced today. Under the agreement, Nulogx will bundle ACOM's award-winning EZeDocs/400 document output management solution as the forms production and printing component of Nulogx' SaaS offering,
EZeDocs enables its users to create electronic document templates with its EZDesigner/400, a WYSIWYG drag-and-drop design tool. The templates are stored in the software and when a document is required, data is merged into the template and spooled out for printing or electronic document distribution.
Using EZDesigner/400, Nulogx has implemented its extensive forms library in EZeDocs, enabling users to generate TMS documents transparently, as needed, eliminating the cost of preprinted forms and dramatically accelerating the document generation process.
"We examined a number of document output solutions for the System i space and settled on EZeDocs/400 for several reasons," said Travis-James Smith, vice president-solutions. "It provides the functionality and features that we and our customers require, it was easy to deploy and operates seamlessly with our software at a relatively great price point. It is a very clean implementation."
According to Smith, the bundled system, acquired in mid-summer, is already in production in the SaaS configuration and the company may also offer EZeDocs as a document output option for purchasers of Nulogx software licenses.
"This is an excellent vertical application of EZeDocs/400 since it runs native on System i computers and is fully compatible with virtually all software written for that environment," said ACOM senior vice president James R. Scott. "Nulogx has strong presence in the 3PL transportation management software market and EZeDocs brings still more strength to their already powerful product suite."
