Familiant brings over two and a half decades of senior-level experience in hotel management and operations to the Hilton Irvine. He was most recently the General Manager of the Embassy Suites Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona and prior to that he managed the Sunburst Resort in Scottsdale. He was responsible for repositioning the hotel as a high-end resort after a significant renovation.

Starting his career with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Familiant spent close to 20 years in a variety of positions around the United States. From New Orleans, Louisiana and Memphis, Tennessee, to Waikoloa, Hawaii; Long Beach, California and Scottsdale, Arizona, his career has taught him a great deal about the hospitality industry.

Familiant attended Washington State University in Pullman, Washington and resides in Irvine with his wife and two sons, Adam and Ben.
