NBS Introduces its Latest Test Handler for Micro Modules: The MTH-C

The new MTH-C is the latest in a long tradition of state-of-the-art micro module test handling equipment from NBS Technologies.

Toronto, Canada (PRWEB) November 11, 2007 -- The MTH-C Test Handler represents the latest evolution in NBS' micro module test handling equipment, integrating several functions to give our customers access to a high-capacity reel-to-reel machine designed for simultaneous testing (electrical and functional), or personalization of up to 128 / 256 micro modules (depending on film format), with the ability to handle both the 35 or 70 mm films immediately, and the potential for handling up to 200 mm films in the near future.

"Our test handler customers have asked for more flexibility and value in a test handling machine." said Jean Paul Michel, Director Microelectroniques Products Business Unit. "The MTH-C addresses their requests with unsurpassed high capacity reel-to-reel, configurable in either the contact or contactless environment." The MTH-C can be integrated into the micro module production lines, or serve as a stand-alone machine for quality control of incoming micro modules into the smart card production plant. Some of the features include:

  • Up to 60,000 uph
  • 35 / 70 mm film (with the potential for up to 200 mm films in the near future)
  • Contact / contactless and dual interface test
