Inspirational New Magazine Celebrates Family Life -- Partridge Hill Media to Launch Simple Gifts this December
Simple Gifts Magazine offers inspiration for family-centered living. Four issues per year celebrate each season with homemaking, hospitality, gardening, and care of home and homestead. Each issue offers ideas for old-fashioned family activities, travel and discovery. Simple Gifts will also feature families whose family-owned businesses exemplify family-centered living.
(PRWEB) November 13, 2007 -- Simple Gifts Magazine is the brainchild of Nissa Gadbois and her husband, Brian, who have spent the last sixteen years singe-mindedly pursuing a family-centered lifestyle. There were many publications available that covered crafts, cooking, housekeeping, parenting, home-education, natural health and homesteading. Simple Gifts encompasses all of those, and does it with warmth and grace.

"Simple Gifts Magazine has developed out of my own weblog, and out of my relationships with other mothers over the last 15 years", says Ms. Gadbois. "It is a pouring out of myself and all that I know and continue to learn about raising a family, being self-sufficient, living simply and naturally."
Subscribers will be treated to inspirational pictorials, instructions, plans, and patterns for projects featured in each issue, articles on natural healing, musings on parenthood and family life, menus and recipes that celebrate each season, reading and shopping recommendations, as well as contributions from other readers.
Ms Gadbois comments, "Besides offering practical and informative content, Simple Gifts Magazine is gentle and warm, uplifting and supportive. I hope it will be like having a best friend coming to tea"
There is also an important element of Faith that permeates the publication. While not, strictly speaking, Catholic content, it is what the Gadboises call "content with a Catholic flavor."
"We hope to publish a new kind of lifestyle magazine; one that reflects truly family-centered life. We want to reach out to all families and show them how they can enrich their family life through self-sufficiency, simple living and practice of their faith," says Brian Gadbois, the magazine's publisher.
Brian and Nissa Gadbois are home-educating parents of six children and own Partridge Hill Media, a small-press publishing company. Nissa Gadbois' weblog receives nearly 20,000 hits per day and is also associated with a podcast, a forum and internet email list. In addition, there is a Simple Gifts conference being planned for 2008.
