Bob Hope Hollywood USO at LAX, Ontario Airport USO, and Palm Springs USO to Receive Much Needed Funds from Outdoor Benefit Concert to be held in '08
As the USA celebrates Veteran's Day 2007, The USO -- Greater Los Angeles Area, Inc. Brings Event Organizing Team on Board to Sign Up Supporters, Sponsors and Performers and Raise Awareness of the USO's Mission in Southern California.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 13, 2007 -- The Greater Los Angeles USO, which includes centers at LAX, Palm Springs and Ontario has tapped LA based The People's Concert and Superstar Events to lead the event organizing committee and manage the event production and fundraising efforts for an all-day music concert and star-studded event in the spirit of Bob Hope, announced Fred Zermeno, CEO of The People's Concert, LLC.

The proceeds will help assure that our USO Centers in the Greater Los Angeles Area continue to provide comfort and assistance to some 60,000 American military personnel and their families each year," said Michael R.S. In the sprit of legendary entertainer and USO supporter Bob Hope, The Concert for the Troops (www.concertforthetroops.com) will raise funds, awareness, and support for the three USO facilities in the Los Angeles, CA area. A daylong outdoor concert is planned for the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, with performances from an eclectic variety of musicians and world-class bands, appearances by entertainment and sports celebrities and public figures who want to support the troops and raise funds for the Greater Los Angeles USO centers. Event organizers currently seek additional sponsorships in their efforts to raise $1m for The USO -- Greater Los Angeles Area, Inc.
