The magazine's cover article discusses the firm's successes in the fields of plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death litigation. The article recognizes the firm as "one of the top transportation and aviation law firms in the country." It also discussed the firm's reputation for doing meticulous case investigation, and for making emotional connections with their clients.

Founded in 1984, the firm won their first million dollar verdict three years later. Since then, the firm has handled numerous high profile cases, including airplane and helicopter crashes, and school bus accidents.

Partner Anita Porte Robb said of the honor, "It is very humbling to be singled out in this manner. The practice of law has been very good to us, and we work very hard to handle each case as if it was our own family."
