The prestigious Innovations Design and Engineering Awards competition recognizes the hottest products in the consumer electronics industry. For the second consecutive year, St. Paul-based Ergotron has achieved industry recognition as nominated products are awarded CES Innovations Design and Engineering Honors by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). This year, three Ergotron products made the cut in the furniture and computer accessories categories. Honors for the LX Video Conferencing Cart, the Neo-Flex™ Mobile WorkSpace and the Neo-Flex Notebook/Projector Lift Stand have all been added to Ergotron's growing list of accolades.
"The core of our business is developing innovative products with superior functionality and design that promote user wellness," explained Joel Hazzard, president and CEO Ergotron. "We're honored to be recognized by CEA for the second year in a row. This success validates our innovation and confirms our role as the global leader in digital display mounting solutions."
As a widely renowned consumer technology awards program that began in 1989, the prestigious Innovations Design and Engineering Awards recognize achievements in product design and engineering. Products entered in the competition are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the trade press to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting-edge consumer electronics products. The Innovations entries are judged based on the following criteria:
Ergotron's LX Video Conferencing Cart, Neo-Flex Mobile WorkSpace and Neo-Flex Notebook/Projector Lift Stand will be displayed at the 2008 International CES Show, which runs January 7-10, 2008, in Las Vegas, Nevada, booth #26811, and at the Innovations Design and Engineering Showcase at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, booth #70621.
