St. Louis, Missouri (PRWEB) November 16, 2007 -- Mach II Sports announces the development of the St. Louis Multi Sports Facility. The St. Louis Multi Sports Facility is as the name states, a multi sport training and workout facility. The facility will be located in the historic section of downtown St. Louis, Missouri. It will be the training ground for wheelchair athletes, Special Olympic athletes, youth-amateur, collegiate, Olympic-hopefuls, semi-professional, professional and masters athletes, as well as group workouts for a large variety of individuals. The multi sports facility/sports village also intends to host division I, II and III collegiate competitions. "Via our major International competitions, we're inviting and uniting the world. Come join us," stated the center director, Joseph Peebles.

Located in the nation's heartland makes this facility an ideal location for both National and International competitions. In addition, they will host major athletic events for both wheelchair and Special Olympic athletes. Moreover, an athletic payback system will be put into place. This will involve educational sports clinics, weekend coaches' clinics, and one-on-one strength and endurance training for the athletes. For both young and old alike, the sports center will have their Olympic-training athletes agree to put in teaching and coaching time with their developing, lesser-experienced or slightly-skilled athletes.

Located within the sport village will be two artificial turf and one naturally seeded grass soccer field. The soccer field will have an early spring green-up and a faster seed germination process. There will also be a full-length football field, an out-door 400 meter track, and an indoor, banked 200 meter track. The indoor 200 meter track will be located within the St. Louis Indoor Coliseum.

The sports facility plan to install the following integrated systems within the St. Louis Indoor Coliseum:

  • Scoreboard for all sports and all levels of competition
  • Large screen video systems with HD capability
  • Electronic message centers
  • Dakstats ® sports statistics software
  • Sportsound ® sound systems
  • Total system integration
  • Keyframe ® creative contents production services
  • Daktronics Sports Marketing (DSM) services
  • A world-class news room and multi media center
After an energetic workout, rejuvenate your body in their art deco spa and salon. Relax in their dry-heat sauna or their moisturized steam room, or place yourself in their swirling, whirlpool bath. Afterward, treat yourself to a healthy meal at their juice bar/fresh food cafe, or better still, dine under the downtown stars at their outdoor bistro. This is the place where dreams are made and winners are created. The St. Louis Indoor Coliseum, it all starts here!
