Vacation Homes for Wounded Military Soldiers
Florida Spirit Vacation Homes is now offering a free stay in a Vacation Home in Orlando, FL to active duty personnel or veterans who have been wounded in either Iraq or Afghanistan.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) November 16, 2007 -- Florida Spirit is a vacation home property management company in the Walt Disney area of Orlando that currently manages approximately 130 vacation homes, which are rented to families coming to the theme parks for vacation. These homes are owned by families as second homes and are used by the owners just a few times each year.
A percentage of the rental booking income will be set aside each month to provide the funds to host wounded military members and their families in a vacation home for six days at no charge to them.
"Our company, Florida Spirit Vacation Homes is a family business established in October of 2001 just after 9-11. We have watched our brave service personnel volunteer for duty and we have seen so many who have given so much and we want to make some effort on their behalf" says Brian Brannigan, president and co-owner of Florida Spirit.
The vacation homes are in the Disney area and are 3, 4 or 5 bedroom homes, fully furnished with complete kitchens, cookware, bed linens, bath towels and each home has a private pool.
For more details about the "Vacation Homes for the Brave" program, visit the Florida Spirit website . For the last few years Florida Spirit has been offering a 20% discount to all active military personnel coming to Orlando for family vacations with no exceptions on travel dates.
Although at this time the Vacation Homes for the Brave will be limited to just a few families each month, Florida Spirit is hopeful that the program will grow and will be able to expand the number of families in the near future.
