New York, NY (PRWEB) November 19, 2007 -- Elements™ the upscale, Miami based fitness and lifestyle brand, has announced the development of a major diet and weight management program - elements living - for the purposes of selling weight loss services direct to consumers. The diet programming will be built around a new, large-scale online wellness portal, which the company plans to operate in all elements™ clubs and also in conjunction with its online magazine.
"elements is more than an upscale fitness brand, it's a complete lifestyle. From New York to San Francisco, we are now able to offer "elements living" to members and consumers… regardless of geography or time constraints" commented Christopher Palumbo, development director for the fast-growing brand.
On December 31, 2007, elements™ will debut a new wellness site that will make every aspect of dieting available online, from live one-on-one lifestyle consulting, to recipes, workout tips, menus, weight loss buddies, diet analysis, meal planning, shopping lists, personal trainer workouts, weight tracker and BMI tools. The unique and well branded consumer lifestyle site merges the upscale feel of the elements™ brand with the knowledge of the leading fitness and nutrition experts, and allows consumers to purchase a subscription-based weight loss program on a monthly or annual plan. Users will be able to write in, and receive a personalized answer via email - elements™ is the first online lifestyle site to offer this level of personalized service included with a subscription.
The multi-million dollar portal, features integration with Microsoft's HealthVault fusing one of the world's most popular full-service online health and wellness solutions with a innovative new secure data sharing platform. The benefit of this new integration is both the ability to easily import data from a variety of hardware devices such as blood pressure or heart rate monitors, as well as allow the individual end users to share any health information with their other health providers.
According to fitness business Analyst Will McGovern, "Diet and fitness are major hot buttons for US consumers, elements™ is one of the few fitness brands positioned to offer a total lifestyle approach, including both diet and fitness."
The portal will be used directly by consumers online, as well as by highly trained lifestyle consultants within the elements™ clubs, as an enhancement to the weight loss services offered. "Using this online portal, along with our proprietary operating software platforms allows guests to receive a more robust, and uniform experience at any elements™ club location nationwide," said Palumbo.
Elements™ has partnered with an undisclosed technology partner to develop the multi-tiered platform, and expects revenue from diet and weight loss sales to represent a 24% increase in gross annual sales for 2008, and to increase over the next 24 months to represent upwards of 40% of the overall revenue for the lifestyle brand. Other revenues are generated from franchise sales, branded fitness programming, and product licensing.
The hip and stylish elements™ brand continues to attract international attention... from a mention in Forbes magazine online, to new flagship clubs announced in London, Chicago, and New York.
