Practical Guide Offers Map through Legal Maze for Government Workers Facing Attacks on their Careers

Attorney Mark Baron explores possible channels for local, state, and federal employees in Saving Public Service Careers From Attack.

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) November 21, 2007 -- The first of two unique books by attorney Mark Baron, Saving Public Service Careers from Attack, addresses the legal concerns of government workers facing attacks on their careers by way of adverse employment actions such as unfair employee evaluations, suspensions, demotions, and outright dismissals. A veteran of hundreds of such cases, Baron breaks down chapter-by-chapter proper legal steps for civil service employees to take in the defense of their careers.

Seeking to tackle what he saw as an apparent lack of clear, concise information on how government workers can effectively use applicable administrative law processes to contest unfair adverse employment actions taken against them by their employers, Baron wrote Saving Public Service Careers from Attack.

With 18 chapters, several appendices, and a glossary of legal terms, Saving Public Service Careers from Attack is not only for civil service employees, but also for practicing attorneys who want to know more about how to effectively represent public service employees facing adverse employment actions in administrative law forums and for law students who are looking for an exciting branch of the law to practice.
