In this hands-on course, learn about the relationship between search engine optimization (SEO) and what makes successful websites show up at the top of search engine lists. This course helps the student to choose the best keywords, generate correct titles and Meta tags, and improve search engine rank for your website.

Students will be encouraged to bring their own notebook computer to work on their own websites. This will be an active lab where the students will learn to do SEO and SEM for their personal or company website. Methods for promotion using the major search engines will be covered in depth.
