Exmouth, Australia (PRWEB) November 22, 2007 -- Novotel Ningaloo Resort in Exmouth WA has won two prestigious awards in two weeks -one for best "New Development" at the Western Australian Tourism Awards held in Perth on Nov 5th, and on 12th November at the AHA Awards, it took out the gong for WA's best Regional Accommodation Hotel/Resort.

Located on Sunrise Beach in Exmouth the Novotel was developed and is operated by Sunrise Beach Resort Pty Ltd. It was the first internationally-branded hotel to open in the region and has played a major role in attracting additional interstate and international business to Western Australia.
Opened in December 2006, the luxury resort has been built to a contemporary design, sympathetic to its surrounding environment and using natural materials including rammed earth and local stone.
The resort features a choice of one bedroom studios and two and three bedroom apartments and bungalows, a restaurant, bar, adults and children's swimming pools, gymnasium and conference facilities.
A major promotional campaign was launched in 2007, and with media from around Australia brought to Ningaloo to experience the resort and the destination, the Resort has hit 100% occupancy.
The resort makes the most of its panoramic location overlooking the water. Accommodation currently comprises 44 rooms (22 double/twin rooms and 22 suites) and apartments, all of which feature modern beach-house style with chic fittings, contemporary appliances, air conditioning, balcony or terrace, an ensuite bathroom with separate spa bath and shower, cable TV and pay movies, data port for internet connection and kitchen.
