Mediatrix 4400 Series of Products Passes Tests for Interoperability and Integration with the Linksys Voice System (LVS)
Mediatrix 4400 Series integrated with the Linksys LVS system with aim of completely seamless operation for small businesses
Sherbrooke, QUEBEC, November 27th, 2007 - Mediatrix Telecom, the leader in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) access devices and gateways, announced today that the Mediatrix 4400 Series has successfully completed interoperability testing for integration with, the complete VoIP portfolio of Linksys, a division of Cisco: Linksys Voice System including auto-provisioning, to create a true plug-and-play solution for small- and medium-sized businesses.
The compatibility between the Mediatrix 4400 Series and the Linksys Voice System offers added assurance to small- and medium-sized businesses that do not have time to play with complex or non-standard systems. Enterprises will also be able to increase productivity by reducing decision cycle and implementation time.

The Mediatrix 4400 Series BRI Gateway
Designed specifically for enterprise applications, the Mediatrix 4400 digital gateways meet the requirements of enterprises that want to connect their ISDN equipment, such as PBXs, through a BRI interface to an IP network or as a gateway to the PSTN.
Mediatrix 4400 digital gateways, available with 1, 2 or 4 BRI ports, provide transparent ISDN port extensions over an IP network. The remote ISDN terminals can be managed centrally and benefit from PBX services such as calling groups and voice mail. The product is offered with an optional version including Power Over Ethernet and BRI phone power feeding.
