Nashville Band, TelluRide Continues Success in CMT Video Contest

The up-and-coming band reaches final eight in Country Music Television's Music City Madness 2.

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) November 22, 2007 -- Hard work, dedication and great music continues to elevate TelluRide in their quest to win CMT Loaded's Music City Madness 2 online video contest. It was announced on Tuesday that the band had moved on to the fourth round, where they're joined by just seven other artists and groups from around the country.

Drummer Bryan Smith thanked all of the fans for their support by writing on the band's myspace.com blog, "…your efforts and passion for this band have made this a surreal experience for us. Thank you."

The news of their advancement in the contest hit upon returning from two shows in Indiana where they played for high school students near the hometown of band member Cain Hall. The group also helped budding musicians at the schools by teaching clinics in their music classes.

Rounding out the talented quintet are lead singer Adam Craig, keyboardist Ryan Jones and bassist Jimi Hendrix. Their 'Phone Song' video continues to attract support and fans of all kinds throughout the country.

TelluRide will be appearing at the Wildhorse in Nashville on the 23rd of November with Highway 101 and then opening a sold out show with Billy Ray Cyrus on the 24th.

For more info on the band as well as to check out the 'Phone Song' and hear other TelluRide songs, go to www.myspace.com/telluridefans, and don't forget to visit www.madness.cmt.com to vote for round four.
