Western DataCom MobileCom eXpress receives Sprint Network Certification
The MobileCom eXpress PC/104 Plus cellular data modem has been officially certified for operation on the Sprint EV-DO Nationwide Network.

Western DataCom Co., Inc. an Ohio based company has developed the industries first PC/104 Plus, EV-DO Rev A cellular data modem designed specifically to integrate with the Cisco 3200 Mobile Access Router.
The MobileCom eXpress is a rugged form factor PC/104 Plus cellular data modem that supports operation on both CDMA and GSM 3G networks. With broadband like speeds and nationwide wireless coverage the MobileCom eXpress is the ideal addition to the Cisco Mobile Access Router providing an alternative to WiFi. In addition to providing cellular data service the MobileCom XE also includes an integrated GPS receiver for assett location services.
Using custom thermal plates to provide passive conduction cooling the MobileCom XE has an operating temperature range of -40 to +74 degrees Celsius. When installed in the Cisco 3200 Rugged Enclosure the MobileCom XE also meets MIL STD 810F.
