As president of Collins College, Padron is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the school, including guiding business operations and providing direction for the college’s programs and future direction. Padron also serves as a liaison between Collins College and its parent company, Career Education Corporation (CEC).

"Mr. Padron's appointment as president of Collins College promises a bright future for the institution, its employees and students as his leadership skills, experience and enthusiasm for career education provide much comfort that the college is in good hands," said Anthony Stanziani, managing director of the College Division at CEC.
