New Product Relieving Anxiety of Staph-Worried Schools and Medical Facilities - OdorXit Prevent - ClO2 Stops the Spread of Dangerous Staph Virus Dead in Its Tracks

OdorXit Prevent ClO2 kills bugs dead…superbugs that is. Anxious medical facilities and educational institutions can allay their fears with a new product that safely and effectively prevents the spread of the highly contagious staph virus (a.k.a. MRSA), thereby preventing a superbug outbreak.

Hamilton, OH (PRWEB) November 24, 2007 -- The country may be in an uproar over recent staph outbreaks, but a quick and painless end to their panic exists. A new product is aiming to make superbug infections a thing of the past. OdorXit Prevent ClO2, an odor control product, kills contagious bacteria, viruses and even staph safely and effectively before they can spread to others. Health care facilities and educational institutions will particularly want to consider adding OdorXit Prevent ClO2 to their cleaning arsenal. The product's unique formulation produces chlorine dioxide, a bacteria-killing agent, in a safe and consistent way that is far superior to the largely ineffective chlorine and antibiotic treatments. For more information on how to eliminate life-threatening viruses and bacteria from medical facilities and schools, visit the product online at http://www.OdorXit.com?MRSA .

In the wake of a 17-year-old's staph bateria death, schools across the nation have been shutting down while they disinfect against the "superbug." According to a recent Reuters article titled "U.S. health experts seek to calm schools over superbug," the bug causing most of this paranoia is Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA -- a version of an everyday bacteria that causes pimples, sinus infection and, in rare cases, meningitis and blood infections."

According to the American Medical Association, this staph bug "caused 94,000 serious infections and nearly 19,000 deaths in 2005 -- most of them in hospitals." The problem has gotten so out of hand, in fact, that "the Senate even passed an amendment requiring the Agency for Health Research Quality within the Department of Health and Human Services to use $5 million to identify and suppress the spread of MRSA."

What makes the staph bacteria so scary is that it's resistant to both antibiotics and chlorine, the traditional weapons used to combat similar bacteria. OdorXit spokesperson Martin Meyer explains, "Chlorine has been the 'savior,' but even that no longer works. That's because the antibiotic (inside the body) and chlorine (outside the body) products disrupt the metabolism of the cells, giving the bacteria time to build resistance. Therefore, these usual methods of assault no longer work."

OdorXit Prevent ClO2 is different in that its chlorine dioxide formulation is resistant to these superbugs. It prevents nutrients from reaching the cells, thereby halting the spores' reproductive and resistance-development capabilities. Without nourishment, these harmful superbug cells just die. Moreover, application of the product requires no scrubbing, spraying, vacuuming or rinsing. Its safe formulation allows OdorXit Prevent-ClO2 to freely circulate in the hard to get to places that liquid chlorine products can't reach. And when used as directed, no evacuation is necessary, so medical and educational facilities can continue operating business as usual.
