Seattle, Washington (PRWEB) November 29, 2007 -- Holiday Resales, a division of Holiday Group, is preparing for its sixth virtual seminar, this latest one featuring the Timeshare User's Group (TUG). The seminar will take place on Thursday, December 13, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. PST. Participation is open to the public. Please visit https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/615427046 for information on registration, or email to webinars @ holidaygroup.com.
Web seminars, popularly referred to as webinars, are a convenient alternative to traditional seminars, allowing people to participate via their computers from home or work. Attendees see and hear the live seminar, and can even interact with questions or comments of their own.
Brian Rogers, the TUG Webmaster, will be the featured guest. "I am not in the timeshare business, but have been a timeshare owner for almost twenty years," Rogers said. "And after running TUG for over fourteen years, I probably have more timeshare experience and knowledge than most people."
Holiday's Director of Sales, Gail Bennett, will host the webinar. "One of the advantages that our webinars offer is objective information," said Bennett. "I like to think that Holiday can be viewed as an unbiased resource both for those who own timeshares as well as those who are still researching the product."
Webinar topics will include how consumers can save thousands of dollars when buying a timeshare, determining which timeshare to buy, and tips on getting the best deals on rentals and exchanges.
"There are a lot of things that timeshare consumers will learn from the webinar that they didn't know before," noted Rogers. "For example, not all Red, or prime, weeks are equal, and I want to discuss that. I will also be talking about how it's possible to spend just a fraction of what most people pay for their timeshare vacations. One of our TUG members took twenty-six weeks of timeshare vacations one year, but never paid more than two hundred dollars for any single week."
"This month's webinar should be a great information resource for people who have serious questions about how to get more out of timesharing, or are still on the fence with the whole idea," Bennett said. "This is a webinar they will not want to miss."
"The biggest mistake first-time buyers make is going to a timeshare presentation to get a free gift," Rogers noted, "then walk away having spent tens of thousands of dollars on a condo they knew nothing about two hours earlier. Education prior to buying or going on a presentation is the key. As our TUG motto states, Knowledge is Power."
Holiday's webinars offer real-world knowledge about timesharing in a low-pressure, consumer-friendly environment. The TUG webinar will last about 30 minutes and be followed by a question and answer session.
