Anderson Homes, the largest privately held homebuilder in the Raleigh area and the Carolina's only 2006 and 2007 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year, recently celebrated a "Best Kitchen" Gold Award for their Bordeaux D home in Haw Village during the Burlington-Alamance County Homebuilders Association annual Parade of Homes.

Raleigh, N.C. (PRWEB) December 3, 2007 -- Anderson Homes, the largest privately held homebuilder in the Raleigh area and the Carolina's only 2006 and 2007 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year, recently celebrated a "Best Kitchen" Gold Award for their Bordeaux D home in Haw Village during the Burlington-Alamance County Homebuilders Association annual Parade of Homes.

Haw Village, recognized in the $317,000 to the $340,000 price category, is an exclusive community quietly nestled in historic Saxapahaw about 20 minutes from Chapel Hill.

The 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, ENERGY STAR® qualified home is 2,842 square feet and features a gourmet kitchen with double ovens, granite counters and a message center.

In addition to the "Best Kitchen" award, the home's butler's pantry was recognized as a "Best Feature."

"We are honored to be recognized by the Burlington - Alamance County HBA," said Kip Guyon, president and COO of Anderson Homes. "The central location between the Triangle and Triad, plus lower property taxes of Alamance County, makes Haw Village a great place to buy a home. As an ENERGY STAR® BUILDER PARTNER, homebuyers benefit from living in a more energy-efficient home that is proven to be more cost-efficient, durable and comfortable."

The Parade of Homes is an annual event that is designed to recognize outstanding achievement in the local building industry. Recipients are chosen by the Burlington-Alamance County Homebuilders Association, with a gold, silver and bronze award presented in each price categories.
