Orleans, MA (PRWEB) December 1, 2007 -- WELSTAR is pleased to announce the opening of their winter art show featuring the works of Mahara Ashlie. As the founder of WELSTAR, Mahara is proud to showcase the work of local artists throughout her Orleans day spa and Wellness Center. The entire WELSTAR team would like to extend a warm invitation to join us Saturday December 8 from 5:30pm until 8pm to celebrate the opening of Mahara's collection "Nature by Design"
A formally trained artist, Mahara will be sharing a body of work that spans many years of her life. Along her journey, Mahara has always sought fresh ideas to help define her approach to personal healing and wellness. In turn, she uses what she knows to help enhance the well being of others. "Decorative designs inspired by nature" is a collection which displays the artist's connection with flora and fauna in way that is both elegant and approachable.
WELSTAR is looking forward to hosting a fun night of art, laughter and light refreshments. Old friends and newcomers alike are encouraged to drop in for an evening that is sure to stimulate the senses. Come and see all that is new at Cape Cod's premier Wellness Center!

"What's in a name?"-Many of Mahara's pieces are signed "Vicki Lynn Bedell", which is her former name. In the search for a name for her daughter, Mahara was introduced to the Kabalarians Philosophy. In short, most of the benefits of the philosophy fall under developing a greater understanding of life through a spiritual and pragmatic point of view.
