Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) December 4, 2007
It's an all too familiar scenario for many Jewish singles -- it's Christmas Eve and they find themselves all alone, eating Chinese takeout and watching "It's a Wonderful Life"… again. So why not skip the takeout this year and instead dance, mingle and maybe even meet your mate at the 21st annual Matzo Ball, the country's premier Jewish singles event.
The Matzo Ball is the "Nation's No. 1 Holiday Party" as named by USA Today. Held in six cities on December 24th, Christmas Eve -- New York, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Miami and Boca Raton, FL. Matzo Ball advanced tickets are available for $25 on their website, http://www.MatzoBall.org
Founded in 1986 by Andrew Rudnick, the Matzo Ball has become a Christmas Eve tradition for Jewish men and Jewish women to meet, mingle and dance the night away. The Washington Post called it "One of the hottest hug-spots for Jewish singles to meet a mate for a lifetime or just to go out with on a couple of fun dates." And, more than 1,000 marriages and countless friendships have developed at this annual extravaganza for Jewish men and women.
"I would just like to mention that Jessica and I met at the Matzo Ball and are getting married this January," said past Matzo Ball attendee Jonathan Grotsky. "We are glad to be one of the success stories that you read about."
Last year's event attracted some 10,500 revelers throughout the country. And, Rudnick added, the Matzo Ball isn't only a Jewish singles event.
"You don't have to be Jewish, straight or single to attend, and if you don't want to stay home, alone, and watch 'It's a Wonderful Life' for the 100th time, Matzo Ball is the place to be on Christmas Eve," he said.
The Matzo Ball, as always, will be held at the hottest clubs. This year's venues include:
- Boca Raton, Club Boca
- Miami, Opium Garden
- New York City, Capitale
- Boston, The Estate & The Suite
- Washington DC, Club Five
- Chicago, Martini Park
