Core Documents Adds HRA "How To" MP3 Audio Files on Their HRA Webpage

Core Documents announces a new four minute MP3 audio file at www.CoreHRA.com to help employers learn how Health Reimbursement Arrangements or HRA Plans can reduce the cost of providing health benefits to their employees.

Bradenton, FL (PRWEB) December 2, 2007 -- Core Documents, the company that most small employers turn to for affordable Section 125, HSA and HRA Plan documents and administration announces they've added a more convenient way to learn how an HRA Plan can reduce the cost of providing employee benefits.

Employers can go to www.CoreHRA.com and click on the convenient "Play" button in the Title area and hear a succinct professional presentation of the information on that page.

Employers by the thousand have been rushing to set up Health Reimbursement Arrangements before the beginning of the New Year. January 1, is historically when most HRA Plans are established, however a Plan can be established at any time during the year.

The easiest and most popular HRA plan design many employers choose is the Comprehensive HRA. With a Comprehensive HRA the employer simply designates a specific amount of monthly benefits, say $150, $200 or more. Employees turn in receipts each month to claim that money for qualifying medical, dental, vision, or individual health insurance premium. Unused amounts can accumulate until needed.

Another way employers use the HRA is in conjunction with a High Deductible Health Plan. This design allows a group to increase their standard deductible from $500.00 to $2,500.00 or more. The new Deductible Gap HRA will shield the employee from deductible expenses in excess of $500.00 or $1,000.00. The employee pays the first part designated by the employer and the group HRA will pay the remainder. Actuarially only about 15% to 20% of employees will have a deductible expense. Technically the employer is taking advantage of the lower premium and self-insuring a portion of the deductible expense.

The IRS requires specific Plan Documents and the Department of Labor requires that each employee receive a Summary Plan Description or SPD. Core Documents can provide you with everything you need to successfully implement an HRA Plan.
