Academy of Art University Ends the Year with Big Bang Art Show

Top art school hosts most unique San Francisco holiday event.

San Francisco (PRWEB) December 2, 2007 -- The holiday season has always been about promoting unity and good will towards our fellow citizens. This year, at top art school Academy of Art University, a modern approach is being taken in combining artwork from students of various nationalities and club affiliations resulting in a global art exhibit. Academy of Art University's Campus Activities & Special Events Department invites you to attend The Big Bang Art Show, co-hosted by the Promotional Networking Club (Front-Row), and International Clubs & Organizations.

"More often than not, the public doesn't get a chance to see the visual impact created by a group of student artists with different backgrounds from all over the world depicting art as a universal language," stated J Aleczander, Executive Director of Campus Affairs at the Academy.

Here is that chance: This non-juried holiday art show will be an international exhibition of select artwork opening in the evening of Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the 601 Brannan Gallery in San Francisco starting at 5 p.m. Local DJ's, student visuals, and holiday hors d'oeuvres will set the tone for this "don't miss" artist reception and student fashion show.

The show will run from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. daily from December 9th until January 3rd. Those who attend the December 8th opening will have a chance to vote for "Best of Show," awarding the lucky winner a $1,000 scholarship.
