Textiles for Thinkers, LLC has been accepted into San Diego CONNECT's Springboard Program for entrepreneurs in technology and life sciences. The company will receive C-level mentoring and assistance toward presenting to panels of industry and funding experts in a position to recommend refinements to the company's plan, identify next steps to achieve company goals and implement a six to 12 month strategic plan.

Textiles for Thinkers, LLC has been accepted into San Diego CONNECT's Springboard program, which provides free assistance to life science and high tech companies in all stages of development including concept, start-up, challenge and opportunity.

Textiles for Thinkers' Founder/CEO, Lisa C. Clark, accepted into the program, will spend weeks in coaching sessions with a dedicated team of CONNECT's C-level Entrepreneurs in Residence ("EIRs") which include a senior global retail brand marketer, a successful online food-related kiosk and healthy gourmet entrepreneur and a global consumer supply chain, sourcing and systems/operations executive.

Upon completion of this process, Ms. Clark will be invited to present the Textiles for Thinkers business model to a select group of experts, usually including a venture capitalist, seasoned entrepreneur with domain expertise, accountant, corporate and patent attorneys, marketing professional, and an executive from a successful company in the same industry. Experts will also be drawn from insurance, real estate, human resources, and other areas as needed, tailored to the individual needs of Textiles for Thinkers.

From this panel presentation Ms. Clark will receive recommendations for the refinement of the Textiles for Thinkers business plan and help identifying next steps to achieve the company's goals. Following the panel presentation, Ms. Clark will meet with the Textiles for Thinkers team of EIRs to identify next steps, incorporate feedback from the panel, and implement a strategic plan for the next six to twelve months.

Ms. Clark is a 20+ year seasoned international marketing MBA professional with management experience from Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods market development, fashion design and retail entrepreneurial ventures, to Fortune 100 technology global channel architecture and wireless product development. Her genetic code includes artists/textile design and engineers/inventors.
