Everything went very well and I was totally delighted with your service. I was pleased back in 1982, when Gentle Giant was in its infancy and I was pleased once more in 2006.

Gentle Giant Moving Company, (http://www.gentlegiant.com), the premier residential moving and storage company in Massachusetts with locations in New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, and Virginia, today announced that year-to-date revenue from its interstate business line has exceeded $5 million for the first time on an annual basis. Gentle Giant anticipates reaching at least $6 million in revenue from interstate moving by the end of this year.

After formally establishing its interstate division in 2004, annual revenues from that business line have roughly doubled. Well known for local moves within the same state, Gentle Giant Moving Company also extends its superior customer service to moves across the continental United States through its interstate division. Gentle Giant attributes the growth of its interstate business to its customers' loyalty and increasing awareness of its multiple locations and breadth of services, strong migratory trends from residents of the Northeast moving to the Southeast, as well as customers' desire for a more premium service than is generally offered by van lines. Unlike most interstate movers, Gentle Giant only utilizes its own employees to pack, deliver, and unload customers' belongings, rather than outsource the moving labor and driving to various third parties.

"The mission of Gentle Giant is to change what people expect from a moving company by creating a positive experience through great service, " said Larry O'Toole, president and CEO of Gentle Giant. "We invest in our employees, and I am grateful that our business success creates growth opportunities for our hard-working people."

While Gentle Giant greatly values the awards it has received from the local and national business communities, its greatest honor is the feedback of the many satisfied interstate customers. Below are some direct quotes from its interstate customers:

"Everything went very well and I was totally delighted with your service. I was pleased back in 1982, when Gentle Giant was in its infancy and I was pleased once more in 2006."
-- Stephanie, Brookline, MA to New York, NY

"I have used the Giants over and over and have referred them to anyone needing a move from small to big. But the ultimate compliment to Gentle Giant is that I hired them to move my parents back to Boston from Florida. That move was handled with such patience and kindness I was expecting to be presented a bill from your department of therapeutic services! Your movers handled both my parents and me with such care I'm still amazed. Thank you. Thank you."
-- Diane, Naples, FL to Newton, MA

"The move went better than I could have hoped. Our movers were kind, efficient, helpful and had senses of humor. We were very impressed and would not hesitate to use Gentle Giant again or to recommend you to our friends. Everything arrived in excellent shape. It was a difficult time in my life and your company helped make a hard transition as easy as possible."
-- Barbara, Haverford, PA to Milton, MA
