Suite Business Software, Inc. today announced that it has extended NetSuite's® One System Architecture with new capabilities to meet the needs of businesses in retail point-of-sale. The SuiteFlex™ Development platform allows third-party applications to integrate transaction data -- orders, inventory, invoices and shipments -- with their applications, and enable customers and third-party developers to build new workflows and applications that can look and operate as if NetSuite's own developers wrote them.

Because NetSuite holds critical business data of a company -- orders, invoices, Web site transactions, shipping records, time tracking and payroll data -- the applications that are built on it using SuiteFlex provide key tools for managing the company's business. For example, with Suite Business Software's QuickSuitePOS™ retail point-of-sale integration, NetSuite customers can use QuickBooks POS for their retail locations and automatically see retail sales show up in their NetSuite corporate system of record.

Suite Business Software is an integration company specializing in extending the NetSuite system to other applications via Web services.

"To integrate NetSuite, which we believe is the most comprehensive Web-based business management system available today, with QuickBooks POS, a widely used point-of-sale system, is a winning combination for NetSuite clients who want an advanced, yet low-cost, stand-alone retail POS system," said Sohail Malik, founder of Suite Business Software. "Rather than re-invent the POS system, using QuickBooks POS with NetSuite one can get the best of both worlds."
