Bariatric Partners, Inc., headquartered in Charlotte, NC, announced today that it has opened its newest specialty ambulatory surgical center in Tampa, Florida. The new center is operating under the brand name of JourneyLite of West FloridaSM.

JourneyLite of West Florida was recently completed under the architectural and construction guidance of Cassetty Architecture, PC and Wallace Associates, LLC respectively.

JourneyLite of West Florida obtained state approval through AHCA for construction of the new facility on April 6, 2007. A subsequent city building permit was obtained from the City of Tampa on May 11, 2007, and construction officially began on May 14, 2007.
