(PRWEB) December 5, 2007 -- Author, Michelle Paisley, "Yoga For A Broken Heart" shares her personal story of heartbreak and loss and shows the reader how to move through these powerful challenges with demonstrations of yoga poses. Paisley is definitely walking the talk.

Who hasn't had a broken heart???

From losing a loved one through divorce, a break-up, death or any loss--from a favorite plant to a beloved pet--we've all been there, including the author herself. Paisley shares her personal experiences in the collapse of her 8 year marriage. This book is timely especially with the holidays fast approaching. The holidays seem to bring up much of the pain that we don't want to deal with. Paisley is offering us some much needed relief.

Sure, it's important to share your feelings of brokenness with someone, but Paisley has offered us some empowering and compassionate yoga exercises to guide us through our pain. The reader will learn:

1. How to take an honest look at your story, by sitting and staying with the emotions, embodying compassion and kindness.
2. Whatever loss you are currently facing, it is possible to transform the pain into relief.
3. Your life presents lessons once we can clear the clutter of the mind and be open.
4. A combination of physical yoga postures (such as the sequence in the back of the book) and spiritual yoga philosophy are tools toward awakening on this path.
Paisley takes us on her journey and shows us how to transform and empower ourselves from the challenging events that occur in all our lives.

Michelle Paisley is a certified Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga instructor who has been teaching yoga for 6 years and practicing it for more than twenty years. She owns Yoga Junction in Suisun City, CA and leads yoga teacher trainings in Sacramento, CA, where she currently lives with her family. Her book can be purchased on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and through Independent Publishers Group (www.ipgbook.com)

This is a great story.
