igxglobal inc. announces their support and sponsorship of Polytechnic's annual digital security cyber challenge, a digital forensics competition for students.
(PRWEB) December 6, 2007 -- igxglobal, a leading information security integrator, announces the support of the Polytechnic's fourth annual Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW). The purpose of CSAW is to promote interest in cyber security topics in today's student community. CSAW provides a venue for students around the country to interact with each other by taking part in competitive activities. These students will become the future leaders of a nationwide community of security professionals.

In each competition, ten finalists will be chosen. They will attend an awards ceremony on December 4th and finalists will be awarded up to $500 scholarship. The prize winners of each contest will be announced at the award ceremony. Competition will be in areas such as a Capture the Flag (CTF), where a team versus team cyber attack and defense competition occurs, a cyber quiz, a forensics challenge, an essay and poster contest as well as other information security technology challenges.
